Concrete wall cladding 18th century fake natural rock turret
Concrete Wall Cladding for an 18th-Century Castle Turret
As part of the aesthetic restoration of an 18th-century castle turret, our team created a custom-made cladding in natural faux rock, applied to the existing concrete walls. This meticulous work aims to recreate the authenticity and mineral character of ancient masonry, while respecting contemporary technical constraints.
🔹 Design & Integration Every relief, every roughness was textured to evoke the period cut stone, with its irregularities, veining, and natural nuances. The goal: to blend the modern intervention into the historic architecture, without any visual disruption.
🔹 Materials & Finishes Hand-patinated, they offer a palette of tones ranging from soft gray to golden beige, with effects of wear and aging that reinforce the illusion of time.
🔹 Result: The cladding transforms the concrete walls into a vibrant and expressive surface that interacts with the rest of the building. The turret thus regains its architectural nobility, while benefiting from lasting protection and a spectacular visual effect.
This work combines craftsmanship, attention to detail, and respect for heritage. A mineral setting that restores the stone's place in history.
