The price of a faux rock in polyester depends on several key factors. Understanding these elements will help you plan your budget and objectively compare market offers.

Size and volume: The larger the faux rock, the more raw material and manufacturing time it requires. A small 60 cm equipment enclosure and a 5-metre pool surround cladding do not represent the same investment.

Shape complexity: Simple shapes (shell, flat panel) cost less than complex shapes with arches, overhangs, crevices and pronounced relief. A multi-tier waterfall or a cave requires more elaborate moulding and assembly work.

Finish type: The standard finish with artisan patina is included in all our prices. Special finishes (artificial moss integration, advanced ageing effects, very specific colours) may adjust the rate.

Integrated equipment: Adding a waterfall with pump, LED lighting, a misting system or access hatches affects the total project cost.

Installation conditions: Site accessibility, distance from our Nice workshop and installation complexity influence the final cost.

Faux rock for pools

The price of a faux rock for pools varies with the nature of the project: an equipment enclosure, coping and pool-surround cladding, or a complete decor with a waterfall. The price of a faux rock waterfall depends on its height, the number of levels and the hydraulic integration (pump, circuit, flow adjustment). Submersible LED lighting is available as an option. As every waterfall is designed to measure, we issue a quote after studying your pool.

The price of a wall cladding in polyester rock imitation depends on the surface area, the relief sought, the finishes and the constraints of the support. Installation is included. A study of the project allows us to issue a personalised quote.

Fibreglass-reinforced polyester faux rock costs on average 30 to 50% less than natural stone, considering the whole project: materials, transport, installation and maintenance over 20 years.

Reduced transport costs: 5 to 10 times lighter than stone, polyester requires standard vehicles rather than crane trucks. Delivery costs are considerably reduced.

Simplified installation: No heavy foundations, no earthworks, no heavy machinery. Fitting is done by hand in a few hours, versus several days for stone. Labour costs are divided by 2 to 3.

Zero maintenance: Unlike natural stone, which needs regular treatments (waterproofing, anti-moss, re-grouting), polyester requires no special maintenance throughout its 20+ year lifespan. This is a substantial saving over the long term.

No breakage: Reinforced polyester is flexible and absorbs impacts without cracking, unlike natural stone, which can shatter with frost or break during handling. No losses, no replacements.
