To reach this level of realism, we combine three techniques: high-precision silicone molding from real rock formations, manufacturing in fiberglass-reinforced polyester for strength and lightness, and artisan patina to reproduce the natural tones and shades of stone.

The result is an artificial rock with all the visual and tactile characteristics of natural rock: geological veining, natural fractures, surface roughness, color variations, weathering marks. Even a geologist would struggle to tell it apart from real stone without a close physical inspection.

The silicone mold technique vs. other methods

Most faux rocks on the market are made through hand sculpting (sprayed concrete, carved polystyrene) or rigid industrial molds. These techniques produce standardized results, with repetitive textures and an often artificial look.

Our flexible silicone mold technique, cast directly from natural rocks, captures details that hand sculpting cannot reproduce: micro-textures, millimeter-level striations, mineral inclusions, natural porosity. This level of detail is what makes the difference between an "acceptable" faux rock and a truly stunning realistic artificial rock.

Artisan patina

The color and shades of a natural rock are never uniform. They vary with sun exposure, humidity, mineral oxidation, lichens and moss. Our artisan patina reproduces all these variations with mineral pigments applied layer by layer, creating a depth and weathered look impossible to achieve with industrial dyeing.
